| Good Times Bar & Grill in Maitland was previously called Fredster's and The Silly Grape prior to that. They are the home to live mostly Top 40 bands but on the first Friday of every month after 10PM, they're the home to "Abyss", the new monthly Goth night. |

| We arrived around 10:15PM and heard "Caribbean Queen" and "Second Time Around" playing and listened closely to hear if perhaps they were Industrial versions of the hits. No, the band that had been playing earlier was still knocking down their band set and a pre-recorded track was playing. |

| And at 10:30PM the good stuff finally began, led by resident DJ Lavidicus (USA). |

| At "Abyss", that means mostly Industrial but also Goth, Darkwave, Power Noise and more of the dark genres. |

| Dance floor got active quickly. |

| Most patrons wore the requisite black. |

| Club was warm last night and even a couple degrees warmer on the dance stage. |

| Suddenly it was packed! |
 |
| This was the second edition of "Abyss" with the first edition having taken place in August. The next edition here at Good Times will be the first Friday in October which is October 3rd. DJ Lavidicus also leads the Goth night at Barbarella 3.0 on the third Saturday of each month. |
