EDC Orlando - 2025 - Day 1

This is Camping World Stadium near downtown Orlando and we were here bright and early yesterday for Day 1 of Electric Daisy Carnival - Orlando taking place beside the stadium.

At the entrance which is located on Church Street just west of OBT, there are three stations. The first station is ID check, the second station is Ticket Scan and the third station is Security/Bag Check.

The festival was supposed to begin at 1PM but at 12:45PM the flag was thrown down and entry began!

Our first stop was the kineticFIELD main stage.

As imposing as ever, it looks far-more imposing after dark.

On the main stage, DJ Edgar V (USA).

The Miami-based DJ was doing a House set.

Of course when you're the opener you don't have much of an audience just yet as it takes awhile to process everyone in the entry queues.

But the crowd would slowly fill-in.

We next headed over to the stereoBLOOM stage.

Located at McCracken Field, just a few early entrants here so far.

In the booth, DJ Tiffy Vera (USA/PY).

A mix of House and Latin House during our visit.

Adjacent stereoBLOOM where the rynoBUS Art Car stage used to be parked is the Pixel Forest area. Goes to show they had the space for a Breaks stage this year but chose to ignore one of the largest genres of music in Florida. We know of so many people who went to EDC in prior years that skipped it this year because of zero Breaks artists performing.

Next over to circuitGROUNDS, located where it always is adjacent to the stadium.

This is the original Tinker Field where the baseball stadium used to be. During the early years of EDC-Orlando, the kineticFIELD mainstage was located here. Following stadium renovations this area became too narrow for the increasingly lareger mainstage so it got relocated to its current spot across Rio Grande Avenue. Our prior article about historic Tinker Field can be found HERE.

A few more people than the other two stages.

Our local boy does good.....DJ Circle K (USA).

Representing his Torque brand of DnB.

Delivering the Drum & Bass!

Spotted on the tarmac: Ronda aka Mrs. Circle K.

Also, MC Collaborator (USA) flanked by Stephanie and Ronda.

Located near the festival entrance, neonGARDEN is the fourth of five stages.

Techno is nearly always the music theme at this stage.

And as we moved closer, we recognized another local boy does good!

DJ Carlos Mendoza (USA)

Representing his Shade brand of Techno.

Mi Casa Es Su Casa.....the fifth stage at Bacardi House.

The two story structure has this dance platform behind it with that DJ booth upstairs overlooking it.

The opener was still on when we arrived: DJ Lyon808 (USA).

A mostly House set including a song we would hear several times last night at EDC, "Diet Coke".

Early dancers. It gets packed down there.

Back to kineticFIELD.

For New York-based DJ Jev (USA).

Mostly House music set.

The stereoBLOOM stage had gotten a bit more populated.

DJ Slugg (USA) playing a nice mix of House and Latin House. Couldn't stay long though as there was zero shade and we were facing right into the relentless sun. It felt like we were on the rotisserie at a Kenny Rogers Roasters.

We ran into so many peeps. Many we knew but most were new.

Thank you to everyone for your poses.

Spotted along Rainbow Road: DJ Chino (USA) with Jamie aka Mrs. Chino.

Another visit to the circuitGROUNDS.

Definitely more-crowded now.

Toronto-based DJ Canabliss (CDN)

And she would go that route this stage is famous for: Dubstep & Heavy Bass.

And the headbangers began their head-banging!

First time seeing an aerialist at EDC

A lot of people always ask about the difference between GA tickets and VIP tickets and whether it's worth the extra expense. Well, of course it's a matter of preference but these port-o-potties are the GA restroom experience, roasting out here in the sun.
While VIP gets air conditioned restrooms located in trailers! As someone who can travel to Europe and use the lav once, this is not that big of a deal but many of you have to use the loo every hour and you know who you are!
.
But the main difference is crowd size. Once it gets later both GA and VIP will be jammed. But particularly early-on, VIP will be like this.

While GA will be like this.

VIP also has free cotton candy machines this year.

And free Make Your Own Kandi Bracelet stations too.

The Daisy Lane Bridge is back again.

Crossing only costs 25¢ each way with SunPass, E-PASS and E-ZPass accepted. Just kidding, it's free.

The bridge crosses nearby the Illumiloti Ionisis flowers which light-up at night and shoot flames.

You can also go around the lake instead of over it by visiting the Kinetic Trail.

It can take you from the stereoBLOOM area to the Bacardi House area and bypass the congested area by the stadium.

We tried to get back to the mainstage to see DJ Jaden Bojsen (D) but only caught the last few seconds of his House set. That's him in black.

He was followed immediately by DJ Lavern (NL) who continued with the same.

They've added these plastic pavers to most of the stages to prevent dirt from becoming mud. These weren't needed yesterday but there's a chance of rain for Day 3 tomorrow.

Back to Casa Bacardi.

DJ Monoky (USA) was now in the booth.

Last year was the first year for this stage and it was mostly Latin House. This is it was mostly House, at least during our several visits.

They also had headphones up here for a Silent Disco. There were 3 channels of music but the proprietor couldn't tell me where the other two channels of music was coming from and the first channel was from right here. Seemed kind of pointless since Silent Discos are typically played in a room where you can't hear any music playing.

Back in the neonGARDEN.

On stage, DJ Kasia (PO/GB).

Melodic Techno and even some EDM. Kasia had played downtown at Proper earlier this year.

DJ Bart Skils (NL) taking over shortly after our arrival.
Techno - Techno - Techno. Well, maybe some Tech House too.

You can never go wrong with Go Go girls.

As the sun begun setting, really beginning to get crowded.

Another Dutchman over at stereoBLOOM.

DJ Luuk van Dijk (NL)

His set a mix of House and Disco House.

Will be interesting to see what EDC-Orlando does for 2026. Heavy renovations of Camping World Stadium are to begin soon and will they be completed in time for EDC next year or will it become EDC-Daytona? It's been announced that the Jacksonville Jaguars of the National Football League will play their 2027 season here and everything has to be finished by August, 2027.

DJ Ranger Trucco (USA) came on next.

We had seen him at Wall Street Plaza downtown last year in this concert. He is seen here with headliners Honeyluv (USA) and Green Velvet (USA).

DJ Crespo (USA) at Bacardi House.

Predominately House set.

At the neonGARDEN, day was turning into night.

Miss Monique (UA) was just coming on.

Had been chatting with her backstage earlier and she asked where her #1 fan World Famous Shawn Fenn was. Well....it was loud and she has a thick accent. I thought that's probably what she asked.

Spotted backstage: Rave Mamas - front view

Rave Mamas - back view

The kineticFIELD stage was impressive once it turned dark but we don't think it was as impressive of the stages they've had here the last couple years.

So many lighted features came alive after dark.

There were fireworks.

There were drones.

There were flaming explosions.

DJ Adam Beyer (S) would go Drumcode Techno on us later.

While Armin van Buuren (NL) would go EDM and Trance on us later on the main stage.

Overall it was as crowed as we've seen it at EDC-Orlando and Day 2 is already underway at Tinker Field. Needless to say, a good time was had by all.

It's great that you show a lot of the local and lesser known DJs some love.
