Club Reports: Oliv Bar, The Patio, Aero Bar, Monkey Bar, The Robinson, Celine

This weekend actually began on Thursday night when we dropped-by Oliv Bar located on Magnolia Avenue in Uptown.

Small club but big vibe. We arrived to find DJ Miraxy (USA) working their full liquor bar.

While in the booth we found the tail-end of a Breaks set from DJ Kris Kokopelli (USA).

DJ Atmospherix (USA) would take over shortly thereafter with a Bass House set that someone described as Electro Progressive Breaks. Yes to all of that!

He had the club Heather bouncing!

DJ Nelly Fre$h (USA) was up next delivering Top 40 & EDM hits.

We thought the place might be dead on a Thursday night but there was a surprising number of people here for a school night including quite a few people we knew:

A good time was had by all.

On to Friday night now. We had a DJ concert to go to but we also made a few quick stops to venues we haven't visited lately beginning with The Patio.

In the booth, resident DJ Parry (USA).

The music, all Top 40 hits. It was only 10PM so not many patrons here yet.

Upstairs above The Patio, Blog-favorite Aero Bar.

Veteran Friday night resident DJ Cliff T (USA) is no longer here and has been replaced with DJ Joseph Sautez (USA) on the early shift.

Same as downstairs, just a few here at this early hour but it gets packed later. DJ was playing mostly Vocal House.

As a rooftop venue, you're literally "dancing with the stars".

Spotted in the booth: The new Friday night late shift resident DJ Nela (USA). Love the hat!

Our next quik-stop was Monkey Bar. Located upstairs in Wall Street Plaza, MB is the House music island  in the vast Top 40 ocean that is WSP.

DJ Enmanuel (USA) was indeed playing House.

Not many people here yet though either but it does get jammed.

Still some time remaining to check out The Robinson.

The stairs take you up to their large bar and this is how it was when we arrived.

But the action takes place in their "Disco Room".

The dance floor was active!

Friday night resident DJ Chino (USA) was putting out EDM hits.

Dance floor was bouncing for hits like "Rhyme Dust", "Merther", "On My Mind" and "Drugs From Amsterdam". The music was LOUD!

We need to recheck this place out on a Saturday night but Fridays are definitely lit.

Chino plays House tonight at new downtown club YAZ.

Well damn! Party in the booth.

To be considered a legit club there must be a shiny disco ball. The Robinson exceeds the requirement.

A good time was had by all.

OK, now on to our DJ concert over at Celine.

DJ Palmtree (USA) was on when we first arrived.

The Orlando-based DJ was playing House.

DJ Caleb Dent (USA) came on a few minutes after we arrived.

He was pretty animated for his Vocal House/Big Room set.

The dance floor was getting filled but nowhere near as crowded as we often see here.

And then, there they were, the headliners.....

DJ Henry Fong (USA) and DJ Laidback Luke (USA).

The lasers were firing for their House set.

We last ran into Laidback Luke at the Sirius/XM beach party in Miami during Miami Music Week.

We last ran into Henry Fong upstairs in Camping World Stadium at the Artist party during EDC-Orlando. He is spotted here with DJ Scotty B (USA) of Promo Only. 

They were taking turns back-and-forth and were really animated too.

Everywhere we went, a good time was had by all.
