We began on Deck 10 aft at the outdoor 5 o'Clock Somewhere Bar.
Duo Duda & Andy (USA) (or is it Andy & Duda) were singing beachy light Rock tunes out here such as "Escape" (The Pina Colada Song).
This is also where the Cheeseburger In Paradise burger bar is located which is included in your fare. The burgers and fixings are delicious and the equal of Guy's Burger Joint on most Carnival ships.
Too soon it was 4PM and time to visit the Oasis Pool, Deck 11 amidship, for that cruising tradition of traditions, the "Sail-Away Party".
Only one DJ on this boat with the party led by DJ Valentino (JA).
Cruise Director Terry (JA) was also here to direct the festivities.
The party kicked-off with the ship's Animation Team doing some dances and encouraging everyone else to participate.
We heard typical sail-away songs such as "We Like to Party" and "Sexy and I Know It".
You can't have a sail-away party without the "Cupid Shuffle".
And the "Cha Cha Slide", of course!
And a conga line for "Hot Hot Hot".
Have to admit it; they do a pretty damn good "Sail-Away Party" on this ship. A good time was had by all.

When you're doing a 2-nt cruise that really means just 1 day away. On this cruise line that means Grand Bahama Island (Freeport) on some cruises and on our cruise, New Providence Island (Nassau).
We always like to check out Señor Frog's when we're in Nassau because it's such a fun place and its location is directly on the harbour overlooking the ships.
We found DJ Doughboy (BS) in the booth playing mostly Top 40 during our visit.
There are two large bars in here and drinking had already begun. By the way, the drinking age in The Bahamas is 18.
But since it was only 11AM, dining tables for lunch were available.
It can get crazy at Señor Frog's with their drinking games, although not as crazy as their locations in Mexico.
A good time was had by all.
Back on the ship, it was time for the "White Hot Neon Party", taking place in the Keys on the Water Lounge, Deck 9 aft.
Problem is it wasn't advertised well pre-cruise so no one wore white and no one wore neon. Just a small crowd when we first arrived.
In the booth, Cruise Director Terry with DJ Valentino.
Ten more minutes and it was packed. DJ moved into more early 00's Hip Hop hits such as "Party Up (Up In Here"(00), "Get Low"(03), "Move Bitch"(01) and "Shake It Like A Salt Shaker"(03).
It was great to hear all those classics.
MAS Paradise does these 2nt sailings from Port of Palm Beach. The much-larger MAS Islander operates Mexican sailings from Port Tampa Bay. The newly acquired and even larger MAS Beachcomber won't begin service until late next year and we expect that to be out of Port of Galveston but that has yet to be announced. Cruise details here. A good time was had by all.
