Last night we began our evening in west suburban Hamlin at Home State Brewing Company.
The last Friday of the month means "Full Dose Fridays" featuring.....
DJ Dose (USA)
The music was House & EDM.
Dance songs from Calvin Harris (GB), John Summit (USA) and Green Velvet (USA) kept the floor bouncing.
This month they used the stage in Home States' biergarten behind this tent.
Last month the booth was located in this covered patio area.
Dose played some great House remixes of classic songs by Fleetwood Mac (GB), Sir Mix-a-Lot (USA) and Gotye (B/AUS).
Spotted near the dance floor: Jaime Anne, DJ Dack (USA) & Amelia
Big crowd last night and a good time was had by all.
Located in downtown Orlando on Pine street, The Robinson is the place to be on Friday nights. Since we were running ahead of schedule, we made it our next stop.
We walked into this.
The action takes place in the adjoining Disco Room.
Friday night resident DJ Chino (USA) was in the booth on the back side of the room.
The music is mostly EDM with a bit of Latin at times.
We heard dance songs like "In Da Getto" & "Move (Henry Fong Remix)".
Dance floor gets packed as midnight approaches. A good time was had by all.
When we entered just after 12:15AM, the headliner had just come on and the club was pretty jammed.
The headliner last night, DJ Danny Avila (E).
Avila was pretty animated for his mostly EDM and booming Big Room set.
Danny Avila is based in Madrid.
The crowd was as enthusiastic as the DJ.
Future events at PTC include DJ Mark Knight (GB) on August 1st, DJ duo NOTD (S) on August 22nd, DJ Jackie Hollander (USA) on September 19th and DJ duo Sidequest (USA) on October 3rd. Advance tickets here.
Last night was the first time we had seen Danny Avila live since he played at the very first EDC-Orlando back in 2012. He had far fewer tats back then, lol.
Spotted in the Tech Booth: DJ Alfred Michael (USA).
Spotted in VIP with friends: DJ Pacho Berrocal (USA)
Because Palm Tree Club is pretty much open-air, it was warm and muggy in there last night with no breeze passing through from their open window frames. We only lasted an hour.
Nonetheless, a good time was had by all.
