Club Reports: Morse Code, Lil Indies, London House

Downtown Winter Park is known for its restaurants and shopping but when it comes to nightlife they pretty much roll-up the sidewalks at 10PM. That changed a couple years ago when Morse Code opened for business.

We came in the door and walked into this!

The legendary DJ Knightlife (USA) was in the booth when we arrived.

The music was mostly late 90's and early 00's Classic Dance.

Dance floor stayed busy.

Morse Code is a wine and beer venue so my "Beef & Tonic" would need to wait for the next stop.

DJ Will B. Geebo (USA) took over about 10:30PM.

Playing off vinyl.

Opening his set with "Insomnia", a song we used to hear echo inside the massive Mannequins Dance Palace club at Pleasure Island.

There's always a fun vibe at Morse Code.

Don't think we've seen DJ Geebo playing since around 2018 when he was a resident DJ in downtown Orlando at Sly Fox.

Spotted aft with DJ Knightlife, another legend, DJ Eric Berretta (USA) and DJ ZZ (USA). We would sadly miss Eric Berretta's set since we still had two more stops to make.

Spotted on the patio: This group enjoying the music from outside.

Located in Orlando's Mills/50 District, our next stop was Lil Indies.

We came in the door and walked into this!

In the booth, DJ BMF (USA).

Advertised as "Donna Summer-time", the music was mostly 70's Disco.

During our visit we heard great songs such as "Rock The Boat" (1974), "Upside Down" (1980), "Can't Get Enough of Your Love" (1974) and "Dancing Machine" (1975).

Lil Indies is a relatively small venue located behind Will's Pub but their bar is really well-stocked!

So fun! If you need some more Disco stat, check out the "Gimme Gimme Disco" event next Saturday night at The Abbey.

As midnight approached, we headed to private club London House located in the Dr. Phillips/Sand Lake Road area.

We came in the door and walked into this!

Resident DJ Chymera (USA) was in the booth playing a mix of both EDM hits and House.

It was "Neon Night" and the place was jammed!

They say you can never go wrong with Go Go girls.

Well damn, they were right!

Neon tattoos were available.

Spotted near the bar: Blog-favorite Tori of Arena Art Bar fame. She's now the Friday night Hostess here in the Bond Room of London House.

Everywhere we went last night, a good time was had by all.
