Club Reports: Barbarella 3.0 @ Axe Trap, Iron Cow, Bond Room @ London House

Saturday night in the city and we began our evening in Winter Park at The Axe Trap.
Yes, this is actually an axe throwing venue but sometime after 10PM on Saturday night the lights over here are shut-off and the building becomes home to night club Barbarella, version 3.0.
Located on Lee Road just east of I-4, the building stands on land once occupied by famed-strip club Booby Trap. Over in the far corner, this stripper pole pays homage to it. Ladies, come test your skills however Management would prefer you keep your clothes on.
We typically visit Barbarella 3.0 late in the evening but this time we made it our first stop. Even though they had just opened for the evening, there was already a growing crowd on the dance floor.
And just as it should be on a Saturday night, resident DJ Indie John (USA) in the booth delivering the good stuff.
Which on Saturday nights is 80's New Wave and Alternative.
There was a line at the door when we departed and it would be another great night at Barbarella.
Spotted on the dance floor: Susan, recently voted Miss Spirit Airlines 2025.
Spotted at the bar: DJ Smilin' Dan (USA) and Blog-favorite CJ.
We try to spread-out our club visits to show you variety but there's this club in Orlando that has one great event after another. So for the second night in-a-row, here we were again at Iron Cow.
We walked into this.
We had missed opening sets from DJ Sandy (USA) and Dave Cannalte (USA), but DJ Lee Coombs (GB/USA) was still in progress.
Playing a mix of Breaks and Electro.
Playing classic "Egypt, Egypt".

We ran into lots of peeps from the music scene.

Comparing notes with DJ Amber Jane (USA).

And then, there he was, the headliner, the birthday boy.....

The legendary DJ Andy Hughes (USA).

We didn't stay for his entire set but it was pretty much House during our visit.

Dance floor got packed.

He had the club bouncing.

Upcoming events at the Cow? For Techno, check-out next Friday April 25th for DJ Weska (CDN) with DJ Carlos Mendoza (USA). For Drum & Bass, DJ BCee (GB) is here next Sunday, April 27th followed by DJ LTJ Bukem (GB) on May 3rd.

Time for one more stop: The Bond Room at London House.

We walked into this.

In the booth, DJ Trini D (TT/USA).

The music here, all EDM.

The bar was jammed.

There were a few bunnies in the club for this Easter-themed event.

Dance floor was jammed for great EDM songs such as "I'm Good (Blue)", "Levels" "Where You Are" and "Tipsy".

They say you can never go wrong with Go Go girls.

Well damn, they were right.

Everywhere we went last night, a good time was had by all.
