| This is The Edison / Maria & Enzo's complex on beautiful Pleasure Island. We now know that The Edison is a restaurant that turns into a dance club late at night. Sadly, the Maria & Enzo's portion, located exactly where BET Soundstage once stood, has been a huge opportunity wasted. |

| Amid the rumors swirling around in late 2016, this was going to be a huge dance club with Disney getting back into the game! It had the right dimensions and it even had that walkway surrounding the second level where patrons could look down on the dancers below! |

| By Spring of 2017, as the interior was closed in, there was excitement in the air. |

| But it was not to be. No dance club. Just Maria & Enzo's restaurant. An amazing art deco extravaganza it is, to be sure. I have no idea how they're doing financially but I do know this. As the 10PM hour passes, there is little going on in here and revenue is no longer being generated. That's 4 hours wasted every night that could be used to generate income from Disney guests and locals eager for Disney Springs to become a nightlife destination again. Opportunity wasted. |
