This is the city, Toronto, Ontario. Quick visit to Canada to take care of some business and then spending a few hours in Toronto's Entertainment District as the CN Tower looked on!
Beginning my night at the storied Crocodile Rock.
DJ Alex (CDN) mixing Top 40 hits old and new.
The DJ booth is upstairs and looks down onto the dance floor below.
There have been rumors that Croc Rock could be closing for condo development but owners say they recently signed a 10-yr lease and aren't going anywhere. They promise to be here until at least 2029!
We sure hope so; the place is an institution!
Next over to Bar 244.
All drinks at Bar 244 are just $3. If you think that's a good deal, keep in mind that's Canadian Dollars so they're really just $2.25 in American dollars! Needless to say, the bars stay packed!
Good to see DJ Tygr (CDN) in the booth again!
The dance club is in the basement and it was absolutely, wall-to-wall, jammed!
The music here too was mostly Top 40.
Next stop was the Fifth Social Club.
Still in the perch where we last saw him nearly 3 years ago, DJ JUG E (CDN).
His music is genre jumping, 70's Disco, 80's Classics, Current Top 40, etc.
The crowd comes flowing-in nonstop and he packs the place!
His selections has everyone dancing and singing! Thank you for the hospitality, JUG E!
The Fifth is so unique! They've got ceiling lanterns!
They've got unicorns!
They've got a live grass floor!
