Following sell-outs in prior years, EDC-Orlando expanded two years ago by bringing a main stage to the parking lot area across the road from Camping World Stadium and also moving their entry queues inside the stadium itself to free-up outdoor space.
This expansion has been confirmed by Insomniac head honcho Pasquelle Rotella, who posted, "I’m excited to announce that Electric Daisy Carnival - EDC Orlando
2019 is expanding from 2 to 3 DAYS this year!! Yup, it’s official. For 8
years we’ve been building something magical and now we’ll be going all
weekend long with MORE stages, MORE artists, LARGER production, and a
BIGGER festival footprint! Also, gotta thank all our East Coast Headliners that showed up to make EDC Orlando so amazing last year. Get ready to go BIG!! #3 DAYS! NOV 8 + 9 + 10."
There is already speculation that the event will relocate from Tinker Field to the Central Florida Fairgrounds but Blog sources say the event will remain where it has been, but expanded. While the City does have a Midnight noise ordinance (EDC-Orlando #1 in 2011 allegedly got in trouble for shooting off fireworks after midnight.), the City can pass an ordinance to waive that like they did when the NBA All-Star Game took place in Orlando.
