Wednesday night in Downtown Disney and looking for DJ's. First stop Planet Hollywood. |
DJ Tony Z in the booth spinning Top 40 requests from the patrons. We know Tony of course from Atlantic Dance Hall as well as New Years Eve parties at Disney's Boardwalk Resort! |
There's no dancing here; it's just a restaurant that does not become a club at night. The renovations to turn this place into Planet Hollywood Observatory won't begin until 2016. |
Downtown Disney was packed last night! Easter is over; Spring Break is over. What's up with this? |
Over at the Fountain Stage outside the Earl, it's the kid's dance party! |
In the booth leading the action, DJ King. We know Scott of course from The Groove at CityWalk as well as Bar Louie on Sand Lake Road. |
Doing the twist! |
Showing us some Saturday Night Fever moves! |
Historically, DJ King also worked at Motion, Rock'n'Roll Beach Club, BET Soundstage and PI Live! |
A good time was had by all! |

In your fourth photo, apparently word from the Save Pleasure Island BLOG has gotten out!
I am at DTD nearly every night and it is packed all the time. I really wonder if the current expansion will be large enough to handle all the crowds comfortably. DTD has traded the dance club crowd for its intended audience of families.
Jeff, place was super-crowded on a week night!
Anon, that remains to be seen. The theme parks are the same way this year.
As its so crowded an 80's club would be an ideal place to go for the adults. it would've been rammed full last night!
