In a news conference held around 9pm last night at Waterview Stage amphitheater on Pleasure Island, Downtown Disney Vice President Keith Bradford
told gathered members of the press that there is a need for adult
nightlife at Disney World to compete against an emerging International
Drive scene as well as coming improvements at CityWalk. "The last thing
we need is one more large restaurant down here," he stated. "The
revolving dance floor will spin once again," according to Bradford. He
said it's still in there. "Surveys consistently tell us that our Guests want nightlife, per Bradford.
"The club will of course see the benefits of
the improvements already made to the building," per Walt Disney World
President George Kalogridis who was at the announcement.
"Modern lighting and laser technology will return Mannequins to top tier
status among the world's night clubs," he said.
The Blog was able to reach namesake Masaharu Morimoto at his restaurant in New York City. "I know nothing about it. They pay me much money for my name but I no cook there."

Happy April Fools! I knew you wouldn't let us down. Lol..
If it wasn't for the gaping holes in the building you would of had the ultimate April Fools. Still funny though...
YESssss!! Timetable? When?
Actually all that is true that surveys are telling them they need nightlife and they do need to compete with I-Drive and CityWalk and the last thing they need is more shopping and dining. Unfortunately what doesn't appear to be true is that aging Disney imagineers and Bob Iger management still has it in them to do something about it.
