| Madagascar is an island country located in the Indian Ocean east of the African continent. On this cruise we docked at Nosy Be off the northwest coast of Madagascar as well as at Diego Suarez on the Madagascar mainland. |

| The main method of transportation in the various cities on Madagascar is via tuk-tuk and they're all over the place! |

| The tropical scenery is beautiful. |

| Madagascar is mountainous but the mountains are not particularly high. But they don't see snow anywhere nor frost. |

| Enjoying a cold glass of World Cola, an African brand. It was as good as Coca-Cola. |

| The people of Madagascar are overall very poor. Many live on the side of the streets. |

| It was the poorest conditions we've experienced in our visits to over 100 countries although we certainly have not experienced everything. |

| Nonetheless, everyone was extremely friendly. |
