| We don't talk a lot about PI Live Bar. Located in its sunken position at the base of Hill Street,
it wasn't glamorous compared to the surrounding nightclubs. But if you
needed a quick drink without much of a wait, this was the place to go.
It was named for the PI Live DJ booth which was located across from it. PI Live Bar closed with all the clubs in September, 2008 but it reopened with the same name in 2009 when the Mouse realized how dead the Island had become at night with everything shuttered. |

King Bob, does HOB ever have anymore Service Industry nights on Sunday nights anymore?
DJ Magic Mike hosts 2-3 events per year on Sunday nights at HOB. It's not a "Service Industry Night" in that CM's or other service industry folks don't get in free, but the music is the same as the old SIN nights and it gets packed! The last one was the Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend and the next one is the Sunday night of Labor Day weekend. Tickets are $12.
Sorry I'm from England so I'm not sure what dates those are? will this be the same next year? also do you need to book tickets in advance or can you buy them on the door? thanks
Anon, Labor Day weekend is the first Monday in September and the Sat/Sun before it. The event at House of Blues this year is on Sunday, September 1st. Advance tickets are on the House of Blues/Orlando website but they can also be purchased at the HOB box office in advance or on the night of the show.
Memorial Day weekend is the last Monday in May and the Sat/Sun before it.
Each show is announced 1-2 months ahead of the event. So we don't know about next year yet.
