Club Reports: Peek Downtown, Gilt Nightclub

Peek Downtown is Orlando's home of Breaks but last night it was the home of D&B.

DJ Sandra Cruz in the booth when I arrived on this Saturday night fundraiser event for the late DJ Wayne Martin.

Quickly followed by a DJ set from MC Collaborator. He opened with something described to me as "Liquid D&B", something I had not experienced before.

More of a Downtempo kind of music, it had the early crowd on the dance floor!

And as he picked-up the pace, the dance floor did as well!

Unfortunately I had tickets to another event so I couldn't stick around.

But with it this crowded at 11:30PM you knew it was going to be another great night!

Gilt Nightclub was next!

Arrived just in time to see DJ duo Loud Luxury (CDN) come on at midnight!

Even this early, the dance floor was already next to impassable!

The Toronto-based duo got the crowd warmed-up nicely with an EDM set that was heavy on the Bass side!

Finally at 1AM, the reason for the season, DJ Borgeous (USA).

Early in the set, his collaboration with DVBBS that brought him to international fame, "Tsunami".

His set last night featured a lot of 90's songs remixed to an EDM beat.

Because the peeps want EDM!

Borgeous grew up in Seminole County and graduated from Winter Springs High School.

Borgeous plays at Hakkasan at MGM Grand in Las Vegas tonight!

Late in the program, finally giving us back-to-back hits "Invincible" & "Wildfire".
