| By now you know that Planet Hollywood closed right after the first of the year, and that followed the closure and razing of the Planet Hollywood logo store (pictured above right) in late September/early October of 2014. Unlike the t-shirt store though, PH will receive drastic renovations and will reopen as Planet Hollywood Observatory. |
When I dined at Morimoto Asia which was on opening night, a manager told me that several other Disney Springs restaurants will close for renovations and new possible new identities. Those include Fulton's Crab House and Bongo's Cuban Cafe. So we'll be looking to see announcements on those as well.

This first part of this video may not be Pleasure Island specific but the second half (around 5:12) of it is my progress on a project that is just a "little bit" influenced by Pleasure Island. As much as I miss the place, it is never too far away anymore :)
