| The website Theme Park University has published an article here giving 7 reasons why Disney should return Comedy Warehouse to somewhere on Disney property. The Blog concurs, but suggests that the best place for Comedy Warehouse to return would be to Downtown Disney / Disney Springs! Of course they would have to charge for shows this time; souvenirs and drinks would bring in more profit to pay for the CW performers. But there is little that is more family friendly than comedy and the improv style presented at Comedy Warehouse makes every show a different experience. The Comedy Warehouse holiday shows just concluded at Disney Hollywood Studios were once again a resounding success. Wouldn't it be great to have this a permanent fixture at the Springs? |

Yes, completely agree! The article was a good read and had great points. It would be nice to see it come back anywhere on property, but Disney Springs would be a great place.
When Comedy Warehouse was open, we'd drive up from South Florida 4 to 6 times per year and spend a few days at the Disney parks each time. Comedy Warehouse was usually the highlight of the trip and our motivation to go so much. Since it closed, we go maybe once per year, at most. The original players were the best and I've seen a couple of them (Steve, Mark) working elsewhere on the grounds. Their talents are so under utilized. i'd be ecstatic if they brought the troupe back to a permanent venue, perhaps at the rumored Tunnels. Thanks for the great reporting KingBob.
We would fly in from Iowa at least twice a year for a week at a time....5 nights of Comedy Warehouse each trip. Well Disney doesn't make nearly as much $$$ off me anymore, because we may go down to Orlando once every 2 years now -- basically from 4 trips every two years to maybe one.
I know a lot of others that have reduced trips to Disney because of the same reason. If they ever build Comedy Warehouse again, I'm sure our trips would start increasing. We used the drinks and comedy at Comedy Warehouse to "escape" and looked foward to each of those trips. Now ? There is only so much Bear Jamboree and Space Mtn and Ecpot that we need -- limited.
