| Was out at beautiful Pleasure Island earlier today and as I walked by the boarded front entrance to Mannequins Dance Palace I could hear the distinct sound of "drilling" taking place inside! |

| Workers were coming and going through the Waterfront entrance into this construction zone. And if I spoke Spanish I would have asked them what's going on in there! |

| The side entrance was wide open with a ramp to make the gutting easier as MDP is converted into some type of restaurant. Too dark in there to see if the revolving dance floor has been removed but the metal railings that used to surround the circular floor do appear to be gone. |

Yes, it looks like the dance floor railings are gone, but the stair railings and the upstairs railings are still there. Agree with anonymous, the damn mouse continues to destroy all of our dreams! Sad, just sad...
There's a sign on the door that says Dream Builders, yet they destroy the dream. There's a quote from Walt Disney that says I believe in being an innovator. They were innovators with Mannequins. Nothing compared to it and nothing since has compared. Now they are defiling this place. Desecrating the spirit of those who came before them. All for another restaurant. There is NOTHING innovative about this. The drilling you hear is the sound of the progress of the imagineers who came before them being reversed. Let them be anathema.
