Doing some Saturday night club hopping and starting off where Friday night finished: Independent Bar! Working off a camera phone last night so some of the photos will be a bit grainy. |
DJ Indie John in the control tower putting out the Saturday night format of 80's New Wave! |
The dance floor was crowded early. |
And even more crowded later on! |
Had not been out to The Goose since the Orlando Magic's season ended early. |
But it was a beautiful night to be outside on the sky deck as DJ's John Campisano (The Groove) & Johnny Quest (aka Hilton Farris) played Top 40, House & Dance. |
The normally color-changing inside bar stayed red last night. |
As did the pillar at the outside bar. 180 refers to the degrees of view you get of the city skyline as the club is located atop Amway Center. |
Quick stop for a drink at the Stagger Inn. This is the only downtown venue where you'll find Country music since :08 Seconds closed many years ago. |
We're just a week and a half away from the final ever AAHZ Reunion, this year called AAHZ Legacy, at The Beacham. DJ Kimball Collins is already in town from QBAR in Bangkok and he'll be joined by DJ's Dave Cannalte (Mannequins, Promo Only) & Chris Fortier (Backroom) to recreate the early Orlando House music scene of club night AAHZ. Tickets here. |
But no House music last night at The Beacham! DJ Richie Rich (House of Blues) on the boards playing Hip Hop and Top 40 to the packed venue! |
The MC was announcing the songs and holding some contests. |
Richie Rich is no stranger to the House scene though. You can hear him tonight and every Sunday night for Service Industry Night at House of Blues in Downtown Disney West Side! |
The dance floor is pretty much anywhere you want it to be....and it was jammed! |
And a good time was had by all! |

Sucks to see a nice venue like Beacham playing that crap music..oh well
Richie Rich draws huge crowds on Friday and Saturday nights for his popular events. But come out to The Beacham for the AAHZ Reunion and the vibe will be completely different. But equally crowded.
