Club Reports: Eve Nightclub, Vyce Lounge, Independent Bar, The Patio, Aero Bar

Began my Saturday night at Eve Nightclub.

DJ Horny Dave (USA) was in the booth playing Top 40 hits.

Eve is one of downtown's more-upscale dance clubs.

And the place was Saturday-night packed!

Formerly operated by V-Group Concepts, apparently it is under new management.

We know DJ Horny Dave from other downtown venues such as Peek and Celine.

You can never go wrong with Go Go Girls!

DJ had the club packed! Come check it out.

Still operated by V-Group, directly beneath Eve you'll find Vyce Lounge.

Oh wow!  The one and only DJ Magic Mike (USA) in the booth here!

The is home of the color-changing glass ceiling!

No real dance floor, you just grind wherever you happen to be!

The music mostly Hip Hop.

Victor Rivera and Magic Mike pointing me to House of Blues where they'll be putting on another one of those "Service Industry Night" style shows on the Sunday night of Labor Day weekend! You won't want to miss it and advance tickets can be purchased at the HOB box office or here.

Lately Independent Bar has been overrun by millennials!

Arrived to find former Mannequins DJ Dave Cannalte (USA) in the booth playing the 80's!

And within moments of my arrival the dance floor went from like this.....

.....to like this!

Because everybody loves the 80's!

Spotted later in VIP: Christa and Tracy joined by DJ Smilin' Dan (USA) and DJ Dave Cannalte. The two team-up on Friday, August 23rd for a night of 80's/90's Alternative videos at Remix Records and admission is free!

Can't get enough Saturday night at Independent Bar.

When a club is so audacious as to claim "there's always a party" there, the Blog has no choice but to perform random quarterly inspections to assure accuracy!

Without being conspicuous, the camera peered over the glass barrier and found DJ Parry in the booth.

And turning around, the club was indeed packed!

Bubble music!

I had heard a rumor that while the music is mostly Top 40 and Hip Hop earlier in the evening, there was EDM later at night.

That turned out to be true! And people were dancing wherever they could find some real estate to do so!

And then it started to snow!

And the lasers were flying!

People going crazy for Zedd and Calvin Harris!

We gotta concede. There really is always a party at The Patio.

OK, one more stop. Directly above The Patio is Blog-favorite Aero Bar.

Saturday night DJ duo Dominick Morrison (USA) and Cliff T (USA).

It was completely jammed up here too!

Friday nights are more EDM while Saturday nights are more House.

As a rooftop venue, you're literally "dancing with the stars"!

Of course we know The Dom from Mannequins as well as his New Years Eve residency at EPCOT: China.

Everywhere I went last night, a good time was had by all.

Concert Report: In Real Life (Promo Only Studios)

Promo Only is the world's leading packager of music and music videos for DJ's, clubs & restaurants. If you're out somewhere and see a music video playing, there's a great chance you'll see the Promo Only label at both ends of the song!

Based right here in Orlando, Promo Only studios was home last night to a special mini-concert that drew a large contingent of teenage girls.

For a live performance by the up-and-coming Teenpop band In Real Life (USA).

They would perform a handful of their hits acoustic-style and every girl in the crowd was singing along!

As the five top individual winners of the reality TV program "Boy Band", they were brought together and given a recording contract to perform as a boy band. They've performed on "Good Morning America", "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and many other shows.

Each providing vocals, some providing instruments such as this electric violin.

These girls were absolutely thrilled to sing "Crazy AF" live with IRL!

Big thanks to Promo Only for the invite.  A good time was had by all.

PI Update: Gatsby At The Edison

"A Gatsby Evening" returns to The Edison on Labor Day weekend for the second year in a row. Taking place on Sunday, September 1st at 7:30PM, the $79 price does not include tax or gratuity nor does it include your food and beverages which are also extra. However, appetizers are included and twice during the night there will be complimentary champagne served.

I don't recall ever seeing DJ duo Dusky (GB) so this will likely be one to check out at Celine. House.

SATURDAY AUG 10
Now this guy, DJ Oscar G (USA), I've seen many times and he's always impressive. Elixir Bar.  House / Latin House.

Club Report: Elev8Mondays @ 180 Skytop Lounge

It's rare to get out on a Monday night but with Tuesday off from work, this was my chance to finally check-out "Elev8Mondays" at 180 Skytop Lounge!

The DJ booth was located over in the corner for this event.

With DJ Freefall (USA) taking turns with.....

DJ Ray Love (USA).

Located atop Amway Center, the seating is nearly all-VIP.

Having arrived shortly after they opened, there was a steady stream of Monday night clubbers arriving.

An upscale venue, nearly all the Ladies were in dresses!

Freefall was belting out an EDM set during my visit!

While Ray Love went more Top 40 on us.

An outdoor venue, 180 Skytop Lounge gives guests amazing views of the downtown skyline.

Even the I-4 Ultimate Project is romantic from up here!
OK, well, maybe not really.

With an early flight this morning, I was not able to stay late. I've seen the pictures though and this place gets packed! On Mondays! Great music and a good time was had by all.
