| As we drove by this cannabis dispensary this past weekend in Canada, it's important to mention that crossing the United States/Canada border with cannabis is absolutely illegal. Cannabis is legal in the state of New York and it's legal in all of Canada. But you cannot cross the border in either direction in possession of it. In Florida you might even have a medical card that allows you to legally purchase it but don't try to cross the international border with it because it's a federal crime in both countries and can get you arrested and jailed.
