| Ten years ago this month the food truck craze was in full existence and Disney did not want to miss out on it in then Downtown Disney. So as they constructed "highline" overpasses everwhere on the West Side, they decided to turn the open grassy expanse adjacent Bongos Cuban Cafe into Food Truck Park where up to 5 different food trucks could park and offer Quick-Service. We think it opened that way but not for long. The name of the area was changed to Expo Park (now called Exposition Park) and there typically is only two food trucks parked there. With so many good restaurant choices in Disney Springs, apparently not that many want to eat food off a truck. |
