| This weekend was time for one of my Frontier Airlines cheap getaways. If you can operate with just a backpack that fits under the seat in front of you, there can be some amazing deals when you fly Frontier. I've flown to San Diego for $18 each way and Las Vegas for $29 each way. In a couple months it will be NYC for $14.99 each way! On approach to Denver International Airport with the front range of the Rockies running north-south west of the city. |

| Downtown Estes Park is the bedroom community for Rocky Mountain National Park. After a nice lunch and souvenir shopping, it was time to head in! |

| US36 merges with US34 ahead and becomes the highest paved through-road in the country, passing through 12,183' elevation. The road ahead is already closed for the winter. |
