| Following the demolitions of club Motion and Rock'n'Roll Beach Club, this section of Pleasure Island almost looked like a golf course in October, 2012. |

| At the time we pieced-together the abundant rumors to speculate what was coming to this corner of the Island. A) A new pedestrian walkway would cut through the service/garbage area between Raglan Road and Portofino to keep a natural flow for walking. Prior to that, many people abandoned their transit from Marketplace to the West Side. TRUE B) A restaurant with a lighthouse. What was built was quite different than the initial design provided to us but it did include a lighthouse. TRUE C) An outdoor amphitheater from music and events. TRUE We did pretty darn well! |
