Remix Record Shop is one of the few remaining records store in Orlando and it's not unusual to see DJ's actually spin some of that old vinyl stuff here! |
I arrived around 11PM last night to find DJ Celestial (USA) on the decks. |
The store was doing a brisk business. |
Celestial was mixing old Skool Breaks and Classic House. |
All off vinyl, of course! |
Didn't see anyone dancing but there was plenty of bouncing in place! |
Remix carries all the genres and as you would expect from a venue that features DJ's, a large Electronic/Dance section too! Come check them out on North Mills Avenue! |
You know by now if it's at all possible on a Saturday night, I'm going to drop by Independent Bar! |
DJ KC Cuts (USA) was in the booth delivering the 80's! |
The dance floor below was jammed! |
Young & old, rich & poor, male & female, the I-Bar crowd is always a mix of everyone and pretenses are left at the door! |
Because everybody loves the 80's! |
And the Beastie Boys are fighting for your right to party! |
Next over to Elixir Bar! |
Home to this marvelous outdoor wood deck. |
Where we found DJ Hunter Reid (USA) in the booth. |
Crowded but not super-crowded as we've seen for some events here. |
Taking over at 1AM, DJ Wyatt Marshall (USA). |
Delivering that Dirtybird House to us! |
Spotted on the dance floor: Amanda |
Spotted doing the Melbourne Shuffle: Amelia |
That distinctive Dirtybird sound of Deep Tech House with repetitive vocals such as "Da House". We got to see Dirtybird's founder DJ Claude vonStroke (USA) last October at The Beacham LINK. |
DJ E.R.N.E.S.T.O. (USA) had opened the night but I unfortunately missed that set. |
But Wyatt had everyone bouncing!
And a good time was had by all. |
