Club Reports: 3Nine, Opa, BB Kings Blues Club, Ice Bar, Mango's

Just outside Orlando is a place called International Drive.
With most of the nightlife taking place north of the Convention Center and south of Sand Lake Road. Beginning the night at 3Nine (formerly Club 39) located in the lobby of the Rosen Plaza Hotel.
Good to see DJ Los (USA) back in the perch here.
But while the bar was occupied.....
.....the dance floor was not.
The music Top 40 hits.
Although "Billy Jean" did get a few out there dancing!
Across the street from the Rosen Plaza is Pointe Orlando where there are a few music venues such as Opa.
DJ Astylez (USA) was in the booth playing Greek and Reggaeton during my visit!
This is the only venue in town where they encourage you to dance on the tables!
It's absolutely crazy!
You can never go wrong with Go Go girls belly dancers!
Opa!!!
Right next door is B.B. King's Blues Club.
The BB Kings All-Star Band had the club rocking!
The music is not really the Blues but more on the Top 40/R&B side.
The dance floor was packed!
And I'm told it's even crazier on Saturday nights!
The bars were busy and scenic too!
Spotted working: DJ Pedro Vazquez (USA) who is a manager here.
Just north of Pointe Orlando is Ice Bar which has an actual bar inside a frozen room (admission required) plus an actual dance club (no cover).
Great surprise finding DJ Ray Love (USA) spinning in the booth!
The place was pretty crowded!
You can never go wrong with Go Go girls!
Like I said!
The music primarily Hip Hop hits.
DJ's Ray Love & Astylez.
Fun place and the price is right!
Continuing our journey north and making a final stop at Mango's Tropical Cafe.
Quick visit to the outdoor patio in front of the club where DJ Alen (USA) was playing.
This is a place to chill as he delivered "tropical sounds".
Up on the second floor is The Vodou Room which is a separate club within a club.
This is a Hip Hop club and here we found DJ Skeezy (USA) doing just that.
I've seen this room way more-crowded previously.
Like this dance floor in the main room was last night!
For none other than DJ Leony (USA).
He alternated full Latin sets with full EDM sets!
The main floor was jammed!
We originally met DJ Leony at CityWalk's Latin Quarter club when his name sounded so familiar but it took me awhile for it to come to me. I asked, "Are you the DJ Leony who has the EDM mix show on Air BPM on XM Satellite Radio?" It was! His EDM sets at LQ helped me survive the post-Pleasure Island years!
One of the great things about Latin clubs is many don't need to go onto the dance floor to dance; they just dance next to their tables!
A good time was had by all. (Except for maybe that one guy.)
