Celebrate Tonight was a relatively short-lived diversion that took place at West End Plaza a few months after the Pleasure Island clubs were shuttered. It's purpose was to create some activity on the Island in an area that was bleak with the complete lack of anything going on.
As corny as it was though, it took place during a time period where there remained hope that Disney would come to their senses and reopen at least some of the clubs. Taking place right in plaza beside Comedy Warehouse and BET Soundstage Club, everyone wondered why they were doing this outside in the heat of summer and the chilly days of winter when available buildings were standing right there.
Can one have nostalgia for Celebrate Tonight?
