Club Report: Allstate End Of Year Party (The Groove)

Towards the end of every year my employer has an "End of the Year" event to celebrate all the hard work accomplished by our great team of employees. Often it's a luncheon but this year we went with what I know best.....clubs! Saturday night at Universal Orlando Resort and The Groove!

Barriers surrounding the club gave it a look of exclusivity!

As did the door greeting team!

The music was led by one of the best of the best.....DJ Doc Wells (USA).

Of course we know Doc from his days at 8TRAX at Pleasure Island as well as from right here when he led the long-running "80's Night at The Groove".

But at this early hour, no one cared about the music. Where's the food?!

There was a turkey carving station.

A pasta station.

Salad bar.

An amazing mashed potato bar!

And plenty of desserts in the Red Room.

Our party theme was "Decades", music from the 70's, 80's & 90's.

We kicked it off with some obligatory line dances such as the "Cupid Shuffle" and "Cha Cha Slide."

But was hard to tear the crowd away from the delicious food from CityWalk's catering department.

But we got a few on the floor!

70's Disco is always popular!

And 80's New Wave!

Finally the floor got full!

A few drinks seemed to help!
