Club Reports: Immerse 2018, Peek Downtown, Celine

I arrived downtown last night to find Immerse 2018 from Creative City Project taking place.

Orange Avenue and many of the side streets were completely blocked off, filled with stages for music as well as numerous art installations.

There were Rock bands.

There were dance troupes.

There were Hip Hop rappers.

There were.....light bulbs.

You could write a letter to a fellow citizen and read a letter from a fellow citizen.

And there was this most-amazing ball pit I've ever seen!  Immerse continues tonight downtown.

 DJ Agni had opened for DJ Gareth Emery (GB) last month at Celine.

Great music but the House crowd was mostly next door at.....

Celine, the "new" club coming up on it's 1st birthday.

First to the awesome rooftop where resident DJ Horny Dave (USA) was on the controls.

And within fifteen minutes he turned a dance floor that looked like this.....

To a dance floor that looked like this! That's what House music does!

There was a whole-lot of Melbourne Shuffle going on!

Now back inside and downstairs to the main room for DJ Benny Black (USA).

Great House set down here too!

And as 12:30AM approached, it started getting really crowded.

And then there he was! Turning over the reins to the headliner.....

Dirtybird recording artist DJ Will Clark (GB).

Someone had brought the Dirtybird symbol with them, the cracked egg!

Celine was previously club Vain and before that Lyrica and Cairo.

The lasers were in full display!
