The two ticket booths were actually railroad cars that had operated elsewhere in Walt Disney World. As the PI parking lot was obliterated, the cars/booths stood idly by. |
And ignored behind construction walls. We don't really know what became of them; whether they were demolished or moved elsewhere on property. |

I remember there being one at Typoon Lagoon for some time, though it may have been one of the original Fort Wilderness cars.
As I was typing this response, I decided to do a little research. I found this link to Disney's website (https://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2011/07/all-aboard-fort-wilderness-railroad-for-a-trip-down-memory-lane-at-walt-disney-world/) and it mentions this:
"Cars from the Fort Wilderness Railroad were later repainted and used as funky ticket counters at Downtown Disney. These cars were later sold at a private auction and one of the railroad’s locomotives was donated to a local Central Florida museum."
So...someone has a PI ticket counter in their backyard?
Anon at 12:13AM, speak English. I have no idea what you're saying.
Troy, thanks for researching that! The answer to everything is somewhere on the internet! Likely auctioned off at Disney Property Control.
