PI Update: Now & Then

While walking across the Island last week, I thought it kind of odd that when they converted 8TRAX into the rear kitchen area of Morimoto Asia, that they didn't remove this staircase structure. I mean, it takes up a lot of space and they could have built a new emergency staircase with a smaller footprint that would have blended into the area far better.  And it's nowhere near the Forbidden Lounge advertised on it.

Of course 8TRAX fans will remember that it was the back way up to the top floor of the club as well as the DJ booth that was up there!

Walking past this building and the sign brightly lit, it does look pretty nice.

But not as nice as when it was lit up like this!
