The Blog was checking out some newer venues in downtown Orlando last night beginning here with Ferg's Depot. We've reported on this place before because the building, a former train station, has taken more than a year to renovate. It's located adjacent Church Street Station (SunRail) and features recorded music. Ferg's Depot has another location near Tropicana Field in St.Pete. |
Herman's Loan Office is a semi-hidden speakeasy located behind a parking lot on Pine Street. |
This is in the space formerly occupied by Sound Bar, and Back Room prior to that. |
Featuring craft cocktails, recorded 60's music was being played during my visit. Sure do miss the House music played by international DJ's here! |
Herman's safe is actually the elevator to the upstairs bathrooms! The Dapper Duck is newly opened along Orange Avenue just north of Pine Street. |
Like the others tonight, just recorded music and no DJ's. Perhaps another place to chill with your friends before heading to a real dance club! |
