Venue 578 is the new name for what was Firestone Live.
DJ Drop R3Con had opened playing Ambient moving into Electrohouse.
Followed by DJ Evo who took us from Electro into Trance.
The crowd was slow to arrive.
Gareth Emery (GB) coming on a few minutes post-midnight!
Taking us onto a journey of Trance hits!
He was in a really good mood, smiling and bouncing to a lot of the music!
By now the danced floor had filled-up!
The audience was quite receptive to what they were hearing!
Songs were a mix of both vocals and non-vocals.
Emery would talk to the crowd numerous times but with his thick accent, I could never understand what he was saying, lol!
The normal great lighting & sound in this venue!
I was wondering how the crowd would be given that it was just a few days after the rather expensive Electric Daisy Carnival. It was crowded, but not packed.
Great set!
A good time was had by all!

Venue 578 is a horrible name to replace Firestone.
Firestone is so associated with DJ's that it appears that the new name is broaden their appeal to other forms of musical entertainment.
