Visitors and locals alike should always peruse the brochure racks at Attraction-area hotels because there are usually discounts available for many of your purchases. Heading to Downtown Disney? The current edition of Where Orlando QuickGuide (pictured above) has four good discounts valid in DTD.
1) $10 off a $70+ purchase at the LEGO Imagination Center.
2) $5 off a $20+ purchase of food, beverage and merchandise purchase at Planet Hollywood.
3) $10 off $50 food, or free weekend club cover charge at Bongos Cuban Cafe.
4) $5 off $25+ ride purchase at RideMakerz. A competing tourist brochure booklet called Vacation Guide has $10 off $40+ at RideMakerz.
Entertainment Guides have $5 off $20+ at Rainforest Cafe & T-REX.
So don't pay retail if you don't have to....even at Disney!

There are alot of coupons in the Where Orlando Magazine and Where Orlando Maps also...
Bongos has a cover charge?
Anon, thanks for the tip.
71, lol, yes, Bongo's has a $5 cover charge for their club on Friday & Saturday nights. Use the coupon and get in free.
Citywalk too.....love those 2 for 1 drink cards :)
Where do you get the 2 for 1 drink cards for Citywalk??
I'm kind of embarassed to say I had no clue--and I've bought food from the walk-up window plenty of times. Does it get a crowd?
I have been there when we had to wait to get in...so, yes, it can get very busy. The DJ was great on the night we went, alot of Latin music, but he did play some Top 40 dance music also. It was a great time!
71, what Bongo's does is a lot like Latin Quarter at CityWalk.
Regarding 2 For 1 drink cards, the only thing I'm aware of is a booklet called "City Savings Coupon Guide" which is sometimes given out at the CityWalk ticket window downstairs. The current booklet has a 2 For 1 Martini at RCC, 2 For 1 beer or wine at LQ. 2 For 1 beer at NBA City and a 2 For 1 Hurricane at POB's.
Premier Annual Passholders can get certain 2 For 1 mixed drinks (or doubles) at The Groove.
I picked up the 2 for 1 drink coupons from the lobby of one of the Bonnet Creek buildings. Saw them there in Dec 2010, Jan 2011 and May 2011....they are the kind of cards which typically a concierge guy has and stamps his name on the back for kickbacks.
Very interesting; thanks Belle!
