A rather slow night last night at 80's Night at The Groove. It was the third Thursday of the month so that meant the live band Switch/Nerd Ranger. Small crowd though which was not surprising since everyone is occupied with holiday shopping.

Thank God for City Walk.... Thank you Universal!! Damn Mouse.....
Rising Star continues to amaze me with the number of people who go in there to watch others sing. Would never have guessed that the concept would be so successful.
I find myself attending Rising Star 80% of a given night and when the band breaks for 20 minutes, I head over to The Groove. There is no stage persay, but when an unexpected singer starts nailing the lyrics, there are 30-35 up front and the place gets electric. A great time everytime! The hidden gems & trainwrecks along with a great MC, live band, and go-go girls make this place a city walk fav!

That is interesting as Rising Star and Margaritaville were both very busy, and fun too!
