DS Update: HOB Renews Lease

Let's cross this bridge and actually leave Pleasure Island for a change. Destination: Disney Springs West Side.

Sources tell Pleasure Island Blog that House of Blues has renewed their lease and will be remaining part of Disney Springs. We had reported back in 2016 that they were looking at relocating to International Drive. According to the information we received, this restaurant makes so much money that they can't afford to leave!

Of course Bongos Cuban Cafe has announced it's closing in August. We still haven't heard what's going to replace it and/or if this building will be completely demolished.

Construction continues inside City Works Eatery and Pour House, located within but separate from the NBA Experience building. While the latter opens August 12th, the sign for City Works only refers to a Winter 2019 opening which means late December.

At Food Truck Park Expo Park, there were 3 food trucks this past week. While an increase from the typical 2 trucks, nowhere near the 4-5 trucks that parked here when the area first opened.
