DTD Update: Other Things Worth Noting

There has been relatively little construction taking place in Downtown Disney Marketplace but one project that is currently taking place is the expansion of World of Disney and the opening of new main entry portals.
Most people may continue to enter from the Marketplace side of the building but with Town Center and the East Garage opening on the opposite side, the store is getting large new entrances from that direction.
The pulse always continues to quicken as one crosses the No.1 Bridge to beautiful Pleasure Island!
Located between Paradiso 37 and Jock Lindsey's Hangar Bar, the new Pleasure Island stop of the Downtown Disney Water Taxi service is nearing completion.
The landside connection. We've been told this stop is opening next month.
Lastly, we noticed that the Hess Stations on Disney property including this one across from Downtown Disney are still operating under the Hess brand.  Hess Corporation sold their retail operations to Marathon Petroleum last year which has been converting corporate-owned locations to their Speedway brand.  Franchises continue to use the Hess name but I never thought the Disney locations were franchises so I'm not sure why the conversion delay.
