It has finally arrived! ELECTION DAY 2020. We're hoping for a Blue Wave to finally bring an end to the worst President this country has ever had. Below you will find 20 of our favorite memes from this past year. Enjoy!

Downtown Update: Parliament House Moving To Ferg's Depot Building

Ferg's Depot was a short-lived venue along Church Street immediately adjacent the SunRail tracks and the commuter line's Church Street Station (SunRail).

Built in an actual 1889 railroad depot for the South Florida Railroad and later Atlantic Coast Line, the redone interior hosted beautiful bars and lots of televisions for sports. But it never caught on and there were many a weekend evening when the place was closed.

Confidential sources tell Save Pleasure Island Blog that Parliament House, which closed last night after a 45+ year run on Orange Blossom Trail, will allegedly be relocating here. Ironically it will be directly across the tracks from another prominent LGBT venue, Hamburger Mary's. We'll keep you updated!

This Saturday night / Sunday morning, 2AM becomes 1AM again!

 

This means the bars get to stay open an additional hour!

And it's Halloween Night!  Downtown will be a madhouse!!

The City will also allow open containers of alcohol outdoors downtown! The zone is between Washington and Church Streets north to south, Garland and Rosalind west to east.

And it's a FULL MOON! The first on Halloween since 1944!

Can it get any crazier?

Mini-Festival Weekend In Techno Town

Halloween Weekend is coming up and Orlando will be home to 3 different mini-music festivals, all of them on Friday and Saturday!  Tomorrow on HALLOWEEN WEEKEND IN TECHNO TOWN we will post the non-festival events but today, here's info about those festivals. No Parking requires a vehicle while Home Bass requires a hotel room. Read requirements at each website.

DS Update: The Hidden Mickey In Plain Sight

 

This is a side view of Mickey Mouse. Did you know that there's a large hidden Mickey in Disney Springs West Side?

It's located in Food Truck Park aka Expo Park. It's hard to see on the ground, especially with bushes now planted and food trucks parked, but it was pretty easy to spot from the air during construction. It's not an exact match to the drawing posted above but it will give you an idea. The ears are at the top, only his left eye is below it and we can see his snout with round nose at the lower left and his smile at the lower right. Next time you're there, look for it and share your knowledge with any CM's who will listen to you! A hidden Mickey in plain sight.....who knew?
