Club Reports: Vinyl Arts Bar, Treehouse, Bar B

Last night was the closing party for Vinyl.  What?  Operating as Vinyl Arts Bar for the longest time and most recently as Vinyl Rum & Tapas Lounge, they're shutting down in order to be relaunched with an entirely different concept!
DJ Ed Abisada (DR/USA) on the decks upon arrival.
Just a few people on the dance floor upon arrival.
Built in a former residence, the dance floor is in the living room. House music in the house!
Lots of DJ's who have played at Vinyl over the years would pass through last night to drop some tunes.
Located in the home's former kitchen, the bar was busier than the dance floor.
Now over to Treehouse.
First you climb the stairs and go up into the tree.
No DJ here, just prerecorded music which last night was EDM.
A new feature at Treehouse is this bathtub ready-made for taking selfies.
Of course the main attraction at Treehouse is grabbing a drink or shot and then chilling picnic-style on the grass floor!
Now over to Bar B.
DJ Fobia (USA) was in the booth when we first arrived.
Not much activity on the dance floor at this early hour here either.
But the crowd would slowly build.
House music all night long.
Bar B has kind of replaced the recently-closed Peek Downtown as the place to go for all sorts of electronic dance music!
And then at 12:30AM, there he was!  Superstar DJ Keoki (USA).
The floor never got crowded but there was always several people bouncing to the music.
Spotted by the booth: Ashley
Spotted on the dance floor: DJ Timebomb (USA) and Stacey
Spotted on the patio: DJ Jimmy Joslin (USA) & DJ John Campisano (USA)
The bar section of the club stayed busy, even if the floor did not.
Traditional House set from Keoki. We never got a mask and we never got his assless chaps!
Next Friday DJ Krafty Kuts (USA) will play here and on the following Friday night, DJ Sandy (USA). The Blog will provide coverage.
A good time was had by all.
