PI Update: What You Saw Is Not What You Got

Long before anything was constructed, an anonymous reader presented the Blog with concept art such as the one above detailing what was coming to the Island as well as all over in Disney Springs. But what was displayed in concept art was not necessarily what we got.
So let's cross this bridge and check out what was presented and what we got!
This piece of concept art we published gave us a good look at The Edison complex. We didn't know it at the time but the building to the left was an air traffic control tower for an airport without a runway. Down at the far end of the actual Edison, it turns out that black section is where the main entrance is now rather than a screened-in area.
Compare this to what is displayed in the concept art above and below.
One thing that was accurate was this railroad turntable embedded into the concrete of West End Plaza.
We could already see it in this file photo as construction took place at the bathroom complex beside it near STK.
Looking up from the Island's lower level, concept art showed the waterfall and STK.
Wow, STK ended-up nothing like what was displayed in the concept art. And that's always something to keep in mind with concept art. What you see is not necessarily what you're going to get!
