Club Reports: Independent Bar, Stigma, Peek Downtown, Venue 578

You know it's gonna be a good night when you encounter the Orlando Magic cheerleaders performing at the corner of Church Street & Orange Avenue!
With official Orlando Magic DJ D-Strong (USA) playing Top 40!
Part of the Creative City project, there were stages all over downtown with free music, art and dance performances taking place!
DJ Casella playing Hip Hop outside The Beacham.
By now you know though that if it's at all possible, I'm going to drop by Independent Bar on a Saturday night!
The mysterious DJ KC (USA) was in the booth playing early-to-mid 80's New Wave!
And the dance floor went from this.....
.....to more like this within a matter of minutes!
Spotted along the walkway: Lynette & Adam
Spotted on the dance floor: Trina
Spotted in the club: Blog-favorite CJ with friends.
Spotted on the dance floor: Former Pleasure Islanders Jeff & Karen
Spotted on the dance floor: Jennifer & Craig
I-Bar is the place to be on Saturday nights!
First visit to Stigma in several years!
To visit with DJ Ian McDaniel (USA) playing EDM.
If it looks like the DJ booth is in a cage, that's because it is!
It's the only club downtown that has its own tattoo parlour!
Plus two, count them two, stripper poles.  No waiting!
So come on out and practice your moves!
Now over to Peek Downtown for this month's edition of Wake N' Break!
DJ's Rich D & 21 Paths in the booth when I arrived fashionably late.
Big crowd on hand in this newly-decorated venue.
Breakbeats had everyone bouncing!
Spotted in VIP: Anthony & Adriana
Spotted near the booth: Christina, DJ Matrix (USA), MC Marybeth & Travis
Spotted on the dance floor: Trish with a couple troublemakers!
Final stop Venue 578.
Arriving at 12:40AM, electronic dance music duo Krewella (USA) was already on.
The dance floor was packed but I was surprised that there weren't more than there was.
The duo would play all of their numerous hits including "Live For The Night", "Team", "Enjoy The Ride" and current hit "Be There".
Girl getting into their first big hit, "Alive", the video of which was filmed at Orlando International Airport and Daytona Beach.
Krewella is made up of sisters Yasmine & Jahan from Northbrook, Illinois. Originally a trio that included a male "DJ Rainman", he was either forced out or he resigned depending on who you believe.
Spotted in the crowd: DJ Evolv3 (USA) who we know from House of Blues SIN and the Megacon dance parties!
First time seeing Krewella in person since EDC-Orlando in 2013.
Laser explosion!  Lighting was operated by a Tech stationed on the side of the stage rather than from up in back from the regular lighting tech booth.
One way to get a better view.
The show ended really early around 1:15AM so I don't know if Krewella had come on at the traditional 12:30AM or actually earlier.
I didn't hear any complaining though from the young crowd.
And a good time was had by all!
