PI Update: Whatever Happened To Hot Dog Hall Of Fame?

Because a contingent of higher-up Downtown Disney execs visited Steve Schussler and Schussler Creative in Minneapolis in 2008, the Blog had speculated at the time that several of that company's restaurant concepts might replace the nightclubs on Pleasure Island. The creator of concepts Rain Forest Cafe & T-Rex Cafe, both of which were already located in Downtown Disney, seemed to be a natural fit.  And one such concept was Hot Dog Hall of Fame. It was rumored at the time to be a part of "lighthouse" restaurant that was also coming to the Island.
Well as we now know, Schussler's Hot Dog Hall of Fame never made it to Downtown Disney but an apparently unrelated restaurant with the same name did end up in CityWalk. And as we now know, a "lighthouse" restaurant did end up in Downtown Disney and of course it's known as The Boathouse and it was indeed created by Schussler Creative.

Thanks for sharing. Obviously the same name but the logo and other Schussler-concept items did not match was was installed at CityWalk. Makes sense though.
