PI Update: Construction Views

Taking a quick look at Pleasure Island's construction projects beginning with The Edison Orlando. Over in this section that used to be the Adventurers Club, construction seems to be taking place inside, not outside.
The torn plastic tarp guarding the entrance in the new section reveals metal studs installed for future walls within.
Meanwhile down under at The Neverland Tunnels, progress is slow but steady. Look at that circular entrance area and how it's now framed and compare it to what we saw two weeks earlier here.
Those construction worker picnic tables that were out in the sun are now pushed back under the No. 5 Bridge.
Meanwhile over at Riverboat Square aka the Lily Pad area, Portobello Country Italian Trattoria is now closed and undergoing major renovations. What it comes back as remains to be seen.

In regards to Portobello, the new concept art looks nearly identical to the way Portobello looked before. I mean, there may be a few slight changes, but overall, it doesn't appear there'll be that much of a change to the exterior, though I imagine the interior will be updated quite a bit.

And glad to see progress on the Edison - I actually hope to attend the night it opens.

Yeah, I was looking at the concept art and I did not notice any changes. The place has always been so nondescript that people don't see it and walk right past it.
