Club Reports: Sly Fox Bar, Independent Bar, Gilt Nightclub

First Saturday in May, making the rounds beginning at the Sly Fox!

By now you know if it's at all possible, I'm going to visit Independent Bar on a Saturday night!

Resident DJ Indie John in the booth delivering the Saturday night format of early to mid 80's New Wave / Old Wave!

The dance floor started out a bit on the spartan side.

But 15 minutes later it was like this!

And in another 15 minutes like this!

Spotted in VIP: DJ duo Kimball Collins (USA) & Dave Cannalte (USA). Don't miss their sure to be amazing show "Summer of Love" on the Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend, right here at I-Bar!  It's the vibe of AAHZ but in a much more intimate setting!

The dance floor was already packed!

And then promptly at 12:30AM, DJ Paul Van Dyk (D).

And he would begin with Trance and never waver from it!

And he had the club in a frenzy right from the start!

No song with vocals until about 45 minutes in!

And if you don't believe Trance is bringing in the younger generation, look no further!

While I'm still a novice when it comes to Trance genres, his set was pretty much straight-up or traditional Trance but I think he went 138 on us a couple times!

PVD has had a miraculous recovery from injuries he received from a fall off a stage in early 2016 in Utrecht!

Since he began at 12:30AM, kind of expected it to end at 2:30AM. But he kept going and going and going!

He encore did not end until a few minutes before 3AM! Amazing set that never wavered from Trance!

A good time was had by all!
