DS Update: UNIQLO

In my opinion, the biggest retail coup pulled by Disney in the development of Disney Springs Town Center was getting Japanese-based UNIQLO to put a store here.  Many of the stores in the Springs already have locations elsewhere in Orlando and only several are unique.  But to get a UNIQLO, a store located nowhere else in Florida or even the southeast, was a coup!
The Blog compared the store to it's Tokyo flagship store in this article back in June. At that time, the store here had not opened yet but they're open now and I've been twice.
The store is smaller than the one on the Ginza but they nonetheless carry a large assortment of clothing for adults and children, all at price points similar to or just slightly more than you'd pay at H&M.
And here's a tip: They carry quite a bit of Star Wars clothing and it's priced well-below what you'd pay at The World of Disney Store in Disney Springs Market Place or Star Wars Galactic Outpost in Disney Springs West Side.  It's not the same items but you may find selections here that satisfy your Star Wars craving, at prices that will make you go hmmm.
