Concert Report: Electric Daisy Carnival Orlando - Day 2

Having survived the first day of Electric Daisy Carnival - Orlando, returned to Tinker Field beside the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium for more EDM!
Just two of about 30 lines to get in.
First stop was the already-crowded circuitGROUNDS stage located in the outfield of the baseball stadium.
For the lovely and talented DJ duo Rebecca & Fiona (S).
The crowd was enjoying the nonstop set of Dance hits.
They played at Tier Nightclub in 2013 and I got to see them at EDC - Chicago last year too!
Moving over to the kineticFIELD main stage, home to the incredible Electric Cathedral!
The hard Dance sounds of DJ Headhunterz (NL) playing as day turned into night!
Not sure if these were little koalas or little monkeys, but they were sure cute!
Home to mostly Trance the first day, only made one visit to the neonGARDEN stage last night for French DJ duo Amine Edge & Dance.
Plenty of people here too enjoying the straight House/Dance set.
Most of the sets I wanted to see were back here at circuitGROUNDS.
DJ Thomas Gold (D) also playing straight up House/Dance hits!
Tutu's and fluffies for all!
Next up, one of my favorites DJ duo Tritonal (USA).
They would play all their hits including "Colors" and "Now or Never".
These festivals allow you to see dozens of DJ acts in a short period of time, but there's nothing like the up-close experience you get in the clubs such as when I saw them at Firestone last year.
The crowd didn't mind though as they played a mostly Trance set.  People around me drove down from New York and New Hampshire for the event.
Giant lizards on the stage!
At the first EDC - Orlando in 2011, two unknowns to me by the names of Calvin Harris (GB) and Porter Robinson (USA) made debuts.  Last night, this guy, Oliver Heldens (NL), was the surprise of the event, mixing a lot of Dance hits with a lot of Old Skool songs!
He was interactive with the crowd and even went up front to dance a quick shuffle!  Heldens played at Firestone at the end of August and I wish now I had gone!
The EDC dancers finally appeared.  They were scarce this year.
Finally, the event of the event!  Above & Beyond (GB).  While we got Tony & Jono when we got to see them at Sound Academy in Toronto earlier this year, last night we got Paavo & Tony! A light drizzle at this point caused them to cover the DJ booth.
Set included "Sticky Fingers", "Alchemy"and "Blue Sky Memories".
As we saw the first night, a whole new generation embracing Trance.
Arm kandi!
Good shot of the sheer magnitude for the crowd out for Above & Beyond.
Wanted to see Steve Aoki (USA) play because I've never seen him live, but it was just too crowded here and never got a good view.
The Electric Cathedral in full glory!  But with temps now in the upper 50's under a breezy drizzle, it was time to call it a night.
At Electric Daisy Carnival - Orlando, a good time was had by all!
