Tickets are now on sale for Universal CityWalk's annual Labor Day Celebration. Taking place on the Sunday night of the upcoming holiday weekend at The Groove, this year they've got DJ M-Squared (Loft55, Vain), DJ ET (102JAMZ) and then headliner DJ Baby Anne (USA)!  Tickets are just $10 at CityWalk Guest Services.  This is a separately ticketed event.

  1. I'm amazed that this Dj ET gets gigs like this. I've been in the Groove on a Friday night and it was nothing I'd care to hear again. I'm sure he's a nice guy or whatever but he doesn't have the talent...

  3. it would be nice to see them stop messing around with this each year and just bring in one or two of the touring Djs. I'd pay big bucks to see:
    Block & Crown
    Lissat & Voltaxx
    Benny Benassi
    Crazibiza
    Avicii
    Calvin
    Joachim Garraud
    Bob Sinclair
    Martin Solveig

    and the list goes on...

  5. Anon at 6:32pm, a lot of the bigger Hip Hop artists have gone EDM and Hip Hop radio stations are suffering from sufficient new product. Many have migrated over to a more Rhythmic Top 40 format and thus can mix Hip Hop with Top 40/EDM, something 102JAMZ has done.

Anon at 4:01pm, Electric Daisy Carnival is coming in early November so many big names will be in town. I've heard there will also be a big-name EDM concert on NYE at Amway Center. The names you mentioned would be too huge to play in a small room like The Groove.

These big names have never played Orlando: Avicii, Kaskade, David Guetta. Any of them could pack Amway!

  6. Bob, they could put one of those guys on the Plaza Stage at City Walk as part of the evening's festivities, similar to how they handle New Years Eve.

Anon at 6:32pm, ET may be playing some great EDM but the original comment wasn't about what songs he was playing, it's all the rest of it.
