Former
Mannequins bartender Dawn is now working a second job! She joins the bartending staff at a new restaurant in east Orlando called Mr. Sisters. The restaurant, whose
website would lead one to believe that it is trying to attract a gay clientele, has an interesting menu mix. My understanding is that Dawn is still working at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge as a waitress at
Jiko as well as tending bar once per week at the
Victoria Falls Bar. For those of you who can't quite place Dawn, while bartenders Bobby C and Gordo worked the main bar, Dawn was nearly always at the side bar near the stairs. ReplyDeleteshe doesn't work Victoria fall much any more! if and when she does it would most likely be on a friday or saturday night! but as far as i know she hasn't in a long time! but when and if I hear I will post! so check back a lot!!!!! that is all I can tell you!
Mainstays of the early 90's were always Dawn at the side bar,Darryl up on 2nd floor bar and the main attraction Jerry (Mick Jaggers clone) down at the main bar entertaining everyone & cracking jokes. Who are these new comers Bobby C and Gordo ?? :-)

I did what you said to do and could not find any info on any hours for the club and Dawn's hours! said more info to come?

ReplyDeleteYes, Bobby C has been working as a waiter at Kouzinna by Cat Cora, at Disney's Boardwalk Resort. He did a surprise bartending gig at the PI Reunion this past September.
ReplyDeleteDawn will be working Tuesday's from 9-2 in the sports bar, Wednesday's from 4-9 in the sports bar, and Saturday's from 9-2 on the main bar. Google Mr. Sisters Orlando. You will get the address and location of where the club is. She will be thrilled to see all her peeps again.
ReplyDeleteWe ate at Morimoto Asia tonight and I had no idea we were in the old Mannequin’s footprint. Anyone know where Dawn is today. She was truly a favorite back in the day
