Many acts crossed the West End Stage back in the day but not everyone went on to become famous. Currently the Andre Caram Band has been performing at Celebration Plaza on Pleasure Island, featuring Andre "Dreey-C" Caram. In my opinion this has been the most popular of the acts that have auditioned and performed out there and they seem to have them out there now 4-5 nights per week. You should check him out and get his autograph before he gets famous! Remember you saw him on the PI Blog first.
I was there last Saturday and both Andre and Nicholas Marks (flamenco style guitarist} were set-up side by side against the side of Comedy Warehouse; 30 minutes of Andre, then 30 minutes of Nicholas, then back to Andre, and so on. Tables and wicker sofas and chairs were postioned in a semi-cicle layout in front of the performers. I enjoy both performers and have had some fun dancing to their music.
Lame. He sounds like a million other lite-r&b wannabe singers out there. Youtube is littered with them, trying to get their name out with their low budget music videos, and their pitchy/whiny voices.

ReplyDeleteI saw Dreey-C at the House of Blues a few years ago & bought his CD. He's improved a lot since then & can't wait to see and hear what is next.
