Mannequins Reunion Anyone?

OK, I don't want to get your hopes up too high just yet. Anyone for a Mannequins reunion? I previously came close to a deal with Disney before they told me NO-GET LOST. But I'm working on something right now that might work. Too early to give you details. But if you're interested, please pencil in Saturday, September 26th on your social calendar. Yes, that is the 1-yr anniversary weekend of Mannequins closing. Quite appropriate. The stars will need to align for me to pull this off. Are you interested? Would you come out to see our favorite DJ spin? Stay tuned!

  9. I wish....but Mannequins is not going to reopen for this Reunion. It would be held at a different venue.

I should be able to announce something in about 2 weeks.

  11. Goes to show that it's impossible to please everyone. I enjoyed all my years at Mannequins although certainly there was some songs I hated too. And as for the Final Night, it WAS AWESOME with all the techno oldies in the mix!

  12. Gotta disagree about the Peapod comment. There was a DJ who I thought played too many retread mixes, but he shall remain nameless. (Wasn't Peapod, though!)

  13. you can't tell me that PeaPod didn't kill Mannequins with the stuff he played the last few years???? I know you can't please everyone but come on! you know word of mouth is the best way to keep the Good clubs open?! with no AD's didn't help but in the early days that didn't have AD'S and they packed Mannequins out!

  14. and now we are stuck driving through the worst part of town on only certain nights of the week to enter smoke filled clubs. So anyone who gave mannequins bad word of mouth deserves to feel shame at what that person has brought to orlando in terms of techno music.
